Kawaway is a native restaurant specializing in Dumaguete-style chicken inasal (savoury barbequed chicken) and seafood. Together with Chicken Atiatihan, Highway 10 and the defunct Big Jake's Barbeque, it is partly-owned and operated by the Philsouth Group, a local real estate & housing developer. They also serve different regional variants of inasal aside from their tasty house recipe. They opened a branch in Tagbilaran this year and another one soon in Ozamiz.
