       Sunburst Fried Chicken was founded in Iligan in the 1970's and has since expanded to several major cities in the Visayas and Mindanao. Several branches are located in Cebu, where it is very popular. In smaller cities though, its distinct fried chicken recipe (crispy and flavorful skin, juicy but rather bland meat) has met mixed reviews. Not many people grew fond of its food but those that do (me included) keep coming back :). The restaurant also serves pancit, crispy pata (deep fried pork leg), calamari and grilled tuna.
