Soban

Korean pancake

Bibimbap, a mixed rice, egg, carrot, spinach and mushroom dish

Bulgogi - thinly-sliced marinated beef with julienned veggies cooked on your table using a special stove

Kimchi and other pickled spicy vegetables

Gimbap is Korea's version of sushi. They use ham or any cooked meat, ideal for those who don't eat raw meat.

Soban is the finest Korean restaurant in the city but probably only foodies & Korean expats know it exists. The restaurant is on one side of a non-descript building at the North Nat'l. Highway (in Brgy. Daro, fronting the Provincial Hospital complex), hidden from plain sight. The prices are higher compared to Fish153 and Bap Express but the ambience & taste make up for it. This spread includes gimbap, bibimbap and bulgogi plus free kimchi and other pickled/fermented veggie side dishes.
