Mifune

The Japanese dining experience would have been more complete with straw mats, rice paper walls & low tables. Not a fan of the monobloc chairs :).

Mifune is a restaurant at Sta. Catalina St., owned and operated by a Japanese man who's married to a local. It goes without saying the food is authentic and is getting rave reviews from the city's sushi addicts. Prices are a bit steep but if you go on a Friday or Saturday, it's all-you-can-eat for around 300 bucks. That's a whole lot of shrimp and raw fish to stuff in your gut :).
