The global fastfood chain opened their Dumaguete store in 2007. Five profitable years later, the franchisee opted to expand, a mere 2 blocks away on the same street. Currently under construction is McDonald's Perdices branch at the former Cang's building. I was told they plan to open before the city fiesta in late November; once it's finished, it will be one of the largest McDonald's restaurants in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. It's one humongous McSuperstore --- they're taking over an old department store for Pete's sake! In the meantime, here are pics of the good old first store --- McDonald's Quezon Park or McDonald's Plaza, whatever you want to call it :). Location: corner Perdices and E. Surban Sts.
