The pizza and pasta giant's first store in Dumaguete was in an Art Deco mansion at Rizal Boulevard. Unfortunately, it had to close because the building they were renting was sold to one of the Lhuilliers (an influential Cebu-based clan that owns 3 of the largest pawnshop chains in the country). Good thing we still have Shakey's at Robinsons.
